Heather Norman Smith is an author of inspirational Southern Fiction set in her home state of North Carolina. Her goal is to entertain and encourage readers, and illuminate the redemptive love of God, through stories with charming settings and memorable characters that make you feel right at home. She lives just outside Winston-Salem, NC with her husband, their four children, and several pets. Along with writing novels and spending time with her family, Heather also enjoys writing devotions and singing about Jesus.

I really enjoy southern fiction… I grew up in the North, but have spent all of my adult life in the South. And music can be very powerful, it can really pull out the emptions in a person.

This book sounds so awesome! Heather and I have much in common. I love pets, (have 2 cats now) when my husband and I married we combined pets, his dog and my cat! That was a long time ago. Love duel time line books. I just finished Heidi Chiarovoli’s book Hope Beyond the Waves, which takes place in Massachusetts about Peniske Island which was a place lepers where ‘banished’ to (thinking ahead to your next book) although it is not about lepers. Also I just finished studying Romans 8–and love that verse-All things workd together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His good purpose. Also at the end of Romans, where Paul list all the things that cannot pull us out of God’s love verses 38-39! What a wonderful chapter!

I would love to read Southern fiction. I grew up in Texas and still live in Texas, but not in the same area. I do like books that incorporate music especially hymns which I think are more of a dying art. I do love the title of your book, Songs for a Sunday. I love to go church and I have been in several church choirs. I love your goals for your books : entertainment, encouragement, and showing God’s redemptive love. I am intriguied by your storyline. I do like the 1963 time period and that time, I was 16 years old. Thanks for this giveaway. The Lord be with you and your family as you’ll celebrate each day He gives you while holding your hand,
