It was a wonderful poem and video Deena! Great job on the video too! I love the setting outside next to your mums. 💗 I always enjoy hearing your book recommendations and about your passion for reading and writing. Under the Turquoise sky has caught my eye and I’ll have to add to my Christmas list. Thank you for sharing!

Hi, Connie! Thanks for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the poem, and I hope you’ll enjoy the books you choose to read. One reason I loved Under a Turquoise Sky so much was the setting. We had just visited our pastor/missionary friends in New Mexico before I read it and Lisa’s book brought back so many vivid memories of the Navajo reservation and sites we saw while there. And it was a great story for suspense lovers. Thanks for watching and joining the conversation!

Yes, I am thankful for CF authors so much! I love Erin Bartels, Francine Rivers and Joanne Bishcoff! Thanks for the other ones to check out! There is sooo much to choose from!

I saw your post on Avid Readers of Christian Fiction, too! Have a great weekend!

Hi, Phyllis! Yes, we’re so blessed with many fabulous stories by amazing Christian Fiction authors. I have you down for two entries in the drawing. Good luck!

What a great poem promoting others. As a reader, not a writer, I love the suggestion of Christian authors.
Always looking for others to appear on PJNET.tv and share their writing story or testimony.

I loved your poem and your video!
You are very cool, Deena Adams!
Christian fiction audios have been crucial for me with getting through nights that I have been spending with my Grammy in hospice the past couple of weeks. These stories are enjoyable and uplifting. They help me pass the time when my Gram is sleeping, so I can rest my eyes, doze, and then rewind as needed.
I was listening to Pepper Basham’s The Mistletoe Countess two nights ago. I was super-tired and must have been about to doze off right when the main character was following a ghostly figure in an abandoned wing of Havensbrook Hall. I was totally immersed in this creepy situation when a hospice nurse popped into the room, startling me so much that I popped up like a jack-in-the-box with a squeal.
It gave us a good laugh and I was able to give CF a plug.

Thanks, Amy! My family wouldn’t agree with you about me being cool. LOL

I’ve never been able to stay focused on audio books before but I recently listened to a couple on road trips and really enjoyed them so I listened to my first one outside of driving on a trip this month and I think I’m going to start listening to more.

The Mistletoe Countess is the giveaway for my December newsletter going out next week. 🙂 I haven’t read it yet but I plan to. I’ve heard great things about it. I love that you got to talk CF with the nurse. So fun!

You are AMAZING! I love how you honored so many authors you’ve read and shared their stories in this Thanksgiving poem. Had no idea how well you could string together words that rhyme – in addition to fantastic story telling and blogging and author Q&A-ing.
