I have never heard of a creative writing degree. I took a creative writing class years ago. It was at a community college in around 1985. I was discouraged from writing and doing my art because I was told I needed to focus on a real job so i put it all away untill 2020. I am currently writing my first book. It is a memoir so I am learning how to write sceenes and dialouge.
