The best I’ve read this year would be the Redemption series by Terri Blackstock!

These look awesome, I’ve read some and some of the others are on my TBR now. Thank you

  • Sherry Deatrick

I’ve read a few of these and heard some wonderful things about others.so it would be hard to choose one!
Thanks for the chance. Great books!

  • Genessa Hartford

I have read several of these, but not all of them. I’m definitely adding some to my TBR list. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Erica Waggoner

I have recently discovered Michelle Shocklee, Amanda Cox, and Tamera Alexander- so many of these books I have not read. I would read any of these books as people keep raving about them and I love finding new authors!

  • Sharon Bennett

The only book I’ve read in your group is The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kip. I loved it!!! I
am adding the other books to my TBR list. I would appreciate being considered to win any of the books on your list. Thank you!

Love your favorite reads! Most of them are on my TBR but I haven’t read any of them yet! My way to keep track of my reading is through Goodreads. I try to review every single book I read, so that way I help the author promote their book, especially if I loved it. That way I keep track of what I read. From your favorite books I’d love to read every single one of them, but if I have to choose I would select A Million Little Choices by Tamera Alexander. She’s one of my favorite authors and I have heard amazing things about this book!

Hi, Patty. I try to review all the books I read too. I never knew how important they were for authors until I started writing five years ago. Tamera is a great author, and she did a fantastic job on her first contemporary.

  • Lynn Moore

Deena…..I have not found much time for reading in 2023……but it’s on my list to change that in the new year. The Extraordinary Death Of Mrs. Kipp……would be a lovely one to start with! 🤞
“Thank you” so much for all you do to make us aware of such fabulous books! 📚

You have a great list, Deena! I let Goodreads keep track of the books I’ve read for two reasons: 1.) I’m lazy and 2.) It’s my method of accountability to make sure I write and post reviews, which are so important for authors.
I cheat because I have favorites in different categories. My favorite thought-provoking, moving story this year was The Wind Blows in Sleeping Grass by Katie Powner, whereas my favorite suspenseful short read was Ranch Under Fire by Tina Wheeler. My overall favorite was Fairest of Heart by Karen Witemeyer. (Cowboy and ranch stories do not tend to be my first choice and yet two of this year’s faves are just that. It’s good to branch out!) All the books on your list are on my Want-to-Read list.

    • Traci Winget

I enter the books I have read. Into? Goodreads so I remember which books I read and which ones I have not read yet.
My favorite read of twenty twenty three was He Should Have Told The Bees by Amanda Cox. I read it twice and listen to it once.
I have read 3 of your list and would really appreciate the Appallacian Song. Tamara Alexander’s book is on my TBR Kindle!

    • Deena Adams

Hi, Heidi. I’ll definitely be reading The Wind Blows in Sleeping Grass in early 2024! I can’t keep up with all the books I want to read. I hope you get a chance to read the books on my list. I hope you love them as much as I did!

  • Sara Martinez

I would love to win Appalachian Song. The story sounds amazing! I didn’t read too much this past year, but 2024 is my year!

  • Martha

I just started keeping track of what I read two years ago. I think my favorite CF from this year was the Yukon Quest series by Tracie Peterson. I have not read any of the boooks in your Top 10, although there are several I have had on my wishlist. I would most like to read Count the Night By Stars or Hope Beyond the Waves.

  • Mary

You have several I read. I love Liz Tolsma, kimberley Woodhouse, Tracie Peterson, and my top book I think was a million little choices. I could reread it for sure. So many great books. Thanks

  • Carrie

I loved The extraordinary deaths of Mrs Kip, and Hope beyond the waves. Another favorite of mine this year was Janine rosche’s “With Every Memory.”

  • Lual Krautter

Hi. Yes, I’d love to win a print copy of Hope Beyond the Waves, Appalatian Song, or He Should Have Told the Bees. They will be so good, just because of their great authors! A couple of favorite CF books I read this last year, which were not only interesting, but also very intriguing, were these: Indigo Isle by T. I. Lowe, Her Darkest Secret by Jessica R. Patch, and Chasing Hope by Kathryn Cushman. . . Thank you for the opportunity! Lual

  • Jeanette Davis

Yes I keep track of the books I read on Goodreads…but since they are no longer supported by facebook (which is how I signed in) my list is gone…I have been able to recontrct it somewhat. Also I have read 50+ books last year. The books that I read in your list are: He Should Have Told the Bees, Cross Roads, and Hope Beyond the Waves,

    .
If chosen I would love to read A Million Little Choices (paperback)

    Thank you Happy New Year
