Betty!!! How I loved watching your interview with Deena. Your face simply came alive with pure joy as you spoke of the day you were saved & how the Holy Spirit came into your life! And from your discussion….. it’s clear you have kept Jesus at the center of your life & your writing career.
Blessings to you & your “muse” aka your “hubby!”

Hi, Lynn. Yes, Betty’s enthusiam over her salvation was very inspiring. I love seeing people so in love with Jesus. Thanks for watching the interview and joining the conversation!

You had me intrigued at the mention of the story was based on true events. The second thing that stood out is the room you are in looks like you might live in a log cabin style home. My perfect living would be a log cabin by the ocean LOL. I too had done art (drawing or painting) first and I am writing my first book right now. Memoir in the middle of editing but it is getting closer to being published.

    • Deena Adams

Thanks so much for adding to the conversation, Teresa! I asked Betty before we started recording the interview if she lived in a log cabin, and she does! It sounds so cozy to live in a cabin in Colorado. Congratulations on getting close to publication!

This was a very interesting interview. I can tell Betty Slade really cares about her writing and how the story is portrayed. To know this book is based on a true story makes it even more intriguing.
