Spotlight on Michelle Shocklee & a Giveaway
I’m thrilled to spotlight Michelle Shocklee this week, another of my debut novel endorsers. I’ve read Michelle’s last five novels and LOVED them all!

I haven’t met Michelle in person, but I hope to one day! She and her husband work a farm in Tennessee, which, having grown up in the Chattanooga, TN area, makes me love her even more.
I’m not the only one who adores Michelle’s stories. Love from other readers landed several of her titles on the ECPA Bestseller list.
Her books have also won multiple awards. Here’s just a few.
And her novel, All We Thought We Knew, won the 2025 Christy Book of the Year Award!

Michelle Shocklee is the author of several historical novels, including Appalachian Song, a Christy Award finalist; Count the Nights by Stars, a Christianity Today fiction book award winner; and Under the Tulip Tree, a Christy and Selah Awards finalist. I just finished “Appalachian Song,” and it is one of the most touching books I’ve ever read. I found it in a Little Free Library on vacation while in Dahlonega, GA. I’m so glad that my love for all things Appalachia drew me to this book, and I can’t wait to read her others! I went from not ever hearing of Michelle to now being a huge fan. 💕📚
