Stronger than the Storm’s Launch Into the World
Stronger than the Storm Launched into the World this Week!
For this week’s blog post I’m sharing some highlights from my debut novel’s launch this weekend and doing another giveaway of my book! If you’d like a chance to win, be sure to leave a comment on this post by May 5. I’ll select a random winner on May 6 and notify them via email.
Yesterday, April 28, it was super exciting to see Stronger than the Storm launch into the world! What a surreal moment. It hit Amazon’s Hot New Releases for Women’s Christian Fiction for a fleeting moment. What fun!

From writing the first messy draft of this story in 2019, through all the revisions and edits over the years, to this mountaintop moment, I give all praise and glory to God for the opportunity to get this story out there! I pray He will use it to touch many hearts and lives and bring hope to hurting people.
My In-Person Launch Party
I had a wonderful in-person launch party at my church on April 26. We showed the book trailer, played the song my husband created for the book, acted out the first scene (you can watch it below), had an author Q&A, and enjoyed snacks and cake. I sold books and other merchandise, signed lots of copies of the book, took tons of photos, and had a blast!
Here are a few pictures from the Sunday afternoon event.

And here’s the video of the dramatization we did of scene one of chapter one. Enjoy!
Last night, on launch day, I held a Zoom virtual launch party, and it was loads of fun too! I shared the inspiration behind the book, we watched the book trailer and scene one dramatization, played a game, had a Q&A time, and gave away some prizes. You can watch it below if you’re interested.
With thousands of books releasing on Amazon every day, getting attention for my novel is a difficult task, so huge thanks to all who have supported me along this journey and already purchased a copy of my book!
If you plan to buy Stronger than the Storm, would you consider doing so this week? The more copies sold during launch week, the better chance this story has of getting in front of more people.
Also, if you read the book and enjoy it, would you please leave a review? You can’t imagine how important this is for authors. When reviews reach a certain number on Amazon, the algorithm picks up on that, and they show the book to more people. I think the magic number is 50.
If you’re not sure how to write a review, especially if we’re friends, CLICK HERE for a simple guide. It’s much easier than you think! Here are some sites where my book is featured with embedded hyperlinks for easy access when you’re ready to review: Amazon, Goodreads, BookBub, and Barnes and Noble.
Gearing up for a book launch is a lot of work, and I’ve spent hours on all the details, marketing, and promotion. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll head to my website book page HERE and take a look at the podcasts and blogs I’ve been on, and those yet to come. If you listen to or read any, comments are encouraged, as they bless me and the host greatly.
Thanks for taking this journey with me!

A runaway teen. A wife’s devastating secret. A family’s reckoning.
Beth Holbrook has spent years building a life centered on faith and family. As a pastor’s wife, mother of three, and respected parenting coach, she’s devoted herself to helping families raise godly children. Now, with a publishing contract within reach, Beth stands on the verge of realizing a lifelong dream.
Then her daughter runs away.
Eighteen-year-old Leesa is tired of living under expectations she feels she can never meet. One impulsive decision sends her fleeing to Myrtle Beach, determined to take control of her life. But when she returns home weeks later with shocking news, the fragile peace inside the Holbrook family fractures.
As tensions rise, Beth struggles with growing conflict in her marriage, painful criticism from her mother, and the crushing realization that the advice she’s given other parents may not save her own family. Worse still, the secret she’s hidden for nearly two decades threatens to destroy the very foundation of her life.
When a powerful hurricane barrels toward their Virginia Beach home, the Holbrooks must confront the storm raging inside their hearts.
Can grace and forgiveness rebuild what secrets and betrayal have broken—or will the truth tear their family apart?
Perfect for readers who love Christian women’s fiction filled with emotional depth, family drama, and themes of redemption and healing, Stronger than the Stormis a powerful story of faith, forgiveness, and the courage to face the truth.
Fans of Nicole Deese, Karen Kingsbury, and Amanda Cox will love this compelling and heartfelt novel about family secrets, healing after betrayal, and God’s power to restore broken lives.
